Most of our blogs have been about some news, trends, or business moves that we learn about. This one is a bit more generalized but I wanted to take the time to write it out. Barefoot Technologies actively uses social media, our website, e-mail campaigns, and calls to speak with our clients, both current and future. However, we also travel to industry tradeshows to meet you, first hand.
The world of business today has evolved and terms like "inbound marketing", "SEO", "Webinar" and others have created an environment where face to face communication is becoming a scarcity. With all of this happening, it is important to remember that this is a hospitality industry, focusing on putting the right people in the right place, not just selling them a shell. This mentality is something we take very seriously here at Barefoot.
For this reason, several of our crew still partakes in the passing art of the tradeshow, which, as I have come to find out, is still quite booming in this industry. I have attended a few tradeshows of my own to meet and it was a blast. The past two weeks, and the next several, Mike Mueller and Ed Ulmer from Barefoot will be on the road, hitting the eastern VRMA, western VRMA, National VRMA, Inntopia conference, and several other stops along the way.
